Precast Sloped End Sections

Concrete sloped end sections, also known as flared end sections or safety slope end sections, are precast concrete structures designed to improve hydraulic efficiency and aesthetics at the ends of culverts or pipes, blending with the surrounding terrain and preventing erosion. Flatter slopes like 6:1 are considered safer because they provide a gentler transition for vehicles that may leave the road, allowing for easier recovery.

Scored Sloped End Sections

Scored Sloped End Sections serve the same purpose as Precast Sloped End Sections, but are manufactured using the same process as is used to make Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP), thus making them a less expensive alternative.
